Splogs. Aargh. Began noticing them in "Comments" section of my blog about a month ago. Yuki Noguchi's report in the Washington Post, "A New Place for Spam's Same Old Pitches is cause for alarm. Just as spams in e-mail were beginning to be fewer here come sploggers. Damn nuisance. I wonder if anyone actually clicks on the links that the sploggers leave. Let's hope that the search engines act quickly to deal with this threat. Yahoo has done a great job in preventing spams in their web mail. Google's Gmail has room for improvement.
